More than two-thirds of e-commerce transactions are taking place on smartphones and tablets currently. Although Amazon is rated slightly higher than FlipKart at four stars out of 5, Flipkart is leading in all aspects from total downloads and daily visits by users. Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal have all made it possible to download and buy products from their apps. Many fashion etailer’s use apps for the customers to offer special app-related sicounts and to also appeal to the growing population of online customers. Companies like Amazon and Flipkart that are apart of the etail segment have contributed to the jump in the e-commerce market to make and estimated $100 billion dollars by 2020.

I have never used Flipkart or Snapdeal btu there are similar to Amazon and I have used Amazon for a multitude of things. I can understand why these entail segments have taken over the market because they offer everything. People are only moving more and more towards online transactions everyday so why not make that possible within your company if your compeitors already have it? My career potentially being in the fashion industry, this is very important. Customers want the option of shopping online and making the process easier. Also your customers can take advantage of online deals. The e-commerce market is growing tremendously.
